WANNA BUILD SOME SICK & DEVASTATING DECKS? HERE.

Deck Building: Tips & Strategies

Each deck consists of only 6 cards
— max 1
Legendary/Beyond card,
— up to 3
Extreme cards.

The rest is up to you—choose your cards wisely to create powerful synergies!

The game features a wide range of types and traits, so a well-balanced deck that can counter or defend against various cards—regardless of power level, type, ethnicity, or gender—is often a strong strategy.

SOME EXAMPLES OF GENDER-BENDER CARDS, POWER LVL./TYPE CHANGERS & ETHNICITY SWITCHERS YOU SHOULD MAKE THE BEST USE OF:

Jon Fosmark (LOVE/4000):
**ALL “PEOPLE OF COLOR” CARDS BECOME “WHITE PEOPLE” CARDS.

Sigurd & Anders (SAYKO/3000):
**ALL “MALE” CARDS BECOME “FEMALE” CARDS.

Nokokure (CAPITALIST/4000):
**REDUCE ALL OPPONENT’S CARDS’ POWER LVL. TO 1000.

Sasha (ELF/2000):
**PROTECT ONE “FIGHT/MAGIC/ELF” CARD UNTIL SASHA IS DESTROYED.

Combining creative thoughts and ideas by seeing the world from your enemies’ perspective, truly understanding them in the process, is one of the most scary and exciting challenges I give myself in life.

LEARN THE MOST UNNECESSARY BUT NECESSARY INFO ABOUT THE SCENE3 TCG…

PROTECT!

PROTECTION MECHANICS:

Certain cards, such as Sasha: Magic Within, can protect other cards. When a card provides protection, it must be defeated before the protected card can be targeted or removed from play.

**You can also stack protections by protecting a protecting card. This means a second card can shield the first protector, creating a chain of defenses. To keep the game state clear, place each new protecting card on top of the previous one, forming a visible stack while ensuring the ability text of the bottom card remains readable.

"My opponent has more cards left than me—what now?!"

*Some cards can destroy your facedown cards or those in your hand, which may leave one player with more cards remaining at the end of the game. When this happens, the player with extra cards gets to play them all in any order they choose.

Examples of destroyers of facedown cards + on your hand! BE AWARE!

🃏 Mona: 玩具屋 –
Look at your opponent’s facedown cards and destroy all Extreme cards.

🃏 Ramy Essam: Voice of Revolution
Destroy all opponent’s Capitalist & Diamond cards, even the ones on their hand. (check facedown too)

“This mechanic can turn the tide of the game! If you have a powerful but tricky combo, reducing your opponent’s card count might be a smart strategy to limit their options while setting yourself up for a strong finish.”

  • The Architect 2

Canceling, Disabling, and Nullifying Effects

Some cards can cancel, disable, or nullify the effects of other cards. To keep track of which cards are active, we recommend rotating disabled cards 90 degrees.

🃏 Astin: GTA Souleymane -
Unlimited & Magic cards’ abilities have no effect…

CANCELLED

🃏 MA/Claudia/Sasha: Magic the Gathers (Magic type) “passive”

“In some cases, a passive ability may prevent another passive ability from taking effect. If the card causing the cancellation is removed from play, the previously nullified ability becomes active again.”

  • The Architect II

While power levels and rarity often align when a card is in your hand, that isn’t always the case once it’s in play. Some effects can increase or decrease a card’s power level, but this doesn’t necessarily change its rarity.

Power Levels & Rarity

AFFECTS POWER LEVEL:

🃏 Ane Dahl Torp: FINAL BOSS - Destroy all opponent’s cards with lower Power Level than this card.

For example, if a Legendary card with 5000 power is reduced to 2000 power, it still counts as Legendary unless another effect specifically alters its rarity. Power levels can fluctuate during the game, but rarity changes only under specific conditions.

AFFECTS RARITY:

🃏 Ane Dahl Torp: Theatre Mafia - Destroy opponent’s Love, Death, Fight & Alien cards in exchange for loosing all you Epic cards.

GUIDE:
Things are not always as they seem, your ignorance could be your downfall if you don’t learn and gather knowledge about the world. Have no doubt… MONA cards is PEOPLE OF COLOR.

GAMEPLAY<TIPS>=

🈲 Play Passive Cards Early – When passive abilities cancel each other out, the one played first takes priority. Getting yours on the board early can give you an advantage.

🛗 Be Mindful of Facedown Cards – Playing facedown cards is risky since you often don’t know which one you're placing. Use them when the risk is low, but don’t hold onto them too long—your opponent might steal or reveal them using Room Cards!

“Face us when you are ready… We’ve taught you everything we know, and now the path of victory is for you to build.

14 TYPES, INFINITE STRATEGIES!

There are many different types and categories in the SCENE3 TCG universe,
and they all come with individual strategies and tactics.

Will you create a
creative deck with LOVE & DRAGON’s burning passion?
Or a
tactical, well calculated ALIEN & ROOM setup?

CAN YOU MASTER THEM ALL?

Learn about each individual type below:

COOL NOTE:
*each type is based on each story arc/performance in the SCENE3 universe.

ALIEN

All about psychokinetic telepathy and powers beyond human comprehension such as autism powers and adhd abilities. It’s a type mostly used if you’re into mind game strategies.

This type is super effective against technology based types such as ROOM and is weak against spiritual and supernatural types like CURSED.

UNLIMITED

Infinity, existentialism & the universe is the theme for this typing. This type is not the most common, and is often related to powerful and rare cards. Main advice for this type is to have them in your deck when you wanna defy the logic of the game itself, or confuse the opponent.

They rely heavily on randomness, so be brave. Don’t challenge fate too hard against ALIEN though, but conceptual types like DEATH struggles against infinity.

CURSED

Demonic abilities and dark strategies will make the best use of these cards. If you feel like shit, and you want your opponent to feel the same, this will be your favourite type! A very offensive type, but in a manipulative way.

Using these cards together with CAPITALIST abilities is adviced. All types related to realness or positivity is very effective against this typing like LOVE or REAL.

SAYKO

Mental health is mental wealth. To get a deeper understanding of this type it is recommended to watch «Mind Game 2004» or King of Lightning’s 10 hour streams on youtube, for real! Mind game strategies and confusing tactics works excellent with sayko cards.

They are strong when competing against types relying on brute strength such as FIGHT, but will falter facing ROOM-like cards that often cancels out confusing abilities.

DIAMOND

A very privileged, but also self reflecting type. Cards in this class tends to have strategies involving self destruction and ignoring abilities of political identity. These cards are very vulnerable, but acts like glass cannons.

It obviously synergizes with the CAPITALIST type, and is very effective against LOVE. On the other hand the DIAMOND type is weak against REAL and magical types that doesn’t see value in human currency such as ALIEN & DRAGON.

DEATH

A very hopeful and uplifting type, hehe kidding, but at the same time not. Cards in this category tends to revive cards or regain lost abilities. These cards work well when facing the concept of «death» or in this case, destroyed cards.

This type synergizes with the hopeful abilities often related to LOVE or MAGIC. The more existential types like UNLIMITED can be dangerous for the dead.

ELF

A minority type that uses magical abilities and tactics. The ELF type fights off discrimination and position in power based abilities and cards. Using ELF cards can be tricky because it often confronts your moral and ethics, but has the ability to turn the tables last minute if you have alot of «people of color» cards in your deck.

This type has strong synergy with all related to nature and MAGIC, but will also easily be destroyed by oppression types like CAPITALIST or DIAMOND.

“I don’t always know what to do or which strategy to use when I’m facing difficulties in life… but the more knowledge I have, the more I learn how to adapt and see those difficulties as opportunities.”

  • Michael

FIGHT

One of the most straightforward and practical types in the SCENE3 TGC world. Using fight-based cards requires few tactics, just aggressive play.

With super effectiveness against control and manipulative types such as DIAMOND it can turn the tables and get rid of complex strategies and nerd decks, although mindfuck types like SAYKO can hurt these card’s aggressive nature.

DRAGON

Fierce fire and flaming passion defines this type. A strong offensive game plan will make good use of these cards. Dragons are super cool, so to utilize this type play super cool!

Having both strong synergy and weaknesses with the magical and fantasy like types, the MAGIC and ELF cards can both destroy and strengthen the DRAGON abilities. Use this type with burning passion and destruction in mind.

ROOM

An internet, video and email based type. This is the type you wanna use for defensive and strategic play, and represents the big incomprehensible space that is our social network.

This type struggles against the advanced ALIEN type, but also physical types such as FIGHT, but in return destroys reality based cards like CAPITALIST or REAL.

LOVE

When there is much pain and suffering in the world and in your opponent’s heart, LOVE is the answer! A type affecting other cards, making their destructive abilities unusable or changing them to feel good vibes.

They rarely involve destroying other cards, but will help strengthening or weakening types based on hatred. Very effective against CURSED and super weak to materialistic types like DIAMOND.

REAL

This is the kind of type you wanna use if you need to be a 100% REAL. This is a no bullshit type that just goes REAL whenever you play them. REAL cards have little strategies and are very direct. It’s just REAL, bro.

This type works super well against the self critical CURSED type, and is weak against the crushing reality that is DEATH and CAPITALIST cards.

MAGIC

Gathering everything extraordinary and magical, the cards in the MAGIC category is all about fantastical plays and creative solutions. The main advice for this type is to look for fun and adverse ways of combining abilities, cards and typings to create new rules or find ways the architects of this game could not predict.

CAPITALIST cards brings ruin to the magic type, but magic will destroy them the other way around. *Synergizes with DRAGON, ALIEN & ELF. Magic’s homies.

CAPITALIST

If you want to take away the opponent’s motivation to win, CAPITALIST will help. A very downer type, but with good intentions. These cards works best for strategies involving stripping away abilities and the fun of the game.

This type is super effective against MAGIC, but is also destroyed by MAGIC.
*Privileged cards in the DIAMOND category will always be an asset for capitalist based abilities.

CATEGORIES

EACH TYPE CAN BE PLACED IN 4 DIFFERENT CATEGORIES:
